The FAST PASS program is Dr. Rachel’s way to help more people get on an optimized hormone protocol. We call it “FAST PASS” because you can skip the line waiting for her regular 2-hour new patient appointment slot. What’s the catch? It’s focused on optimizing your hormones! Because most aspects of health and many conditions are improved by optimizing hormones, Dr. Rachel feels passionately about fixing and restoring hormones as a foundation for health. Although she treats many conditions in her practice, her specialty, expertise, and heart are in hormones with thousands of patient encounters in this area. This experience puts her in a place to streamline care to cut to the chase and focus on what matters: safety & efficacy based on the most up-to-date evidence in bioidentical hormone replacement. If getting your hormones optimized is your only goal, then this program is for you. It’s efficient and we get you on an program that’s individualized for you. "Hormones & Beyond" Program
Hormones are a key component in optimizing wellness but health goes beyond hormones. In this program, we cover all that is in the ‘Fast Pass’ program, but we expand our template and dive specifically into other targeted areas of your health. Although hormone replacement can help restore function throughout the body, it’s also important to explore your specific risks and dive in. The sky is the limit in this program. We can look deeply into all areas of your health, tonify your immune system, improve digestive function and balance your microbiome, work to target the underlying cause of autoimmunity, look at metabolic disease and blood sugar dysfunction, improve sleep, explore personalized diet and nutrition plans, evaluate nutrient deficiencies, and more! If a comprehensive approach is what you want, this program is for you!

- Step 1. Online patient intake forms and booking of initial appointment. Please allow 20-30 minutes to complete these forms that serve as an important first step in your partnership with Dr. Rachel. She will review these with you during your initial consultation and refer back to them periodically.

Step 2. Initial Consultation. H&B: Allow 2 1/2 hours for your first visit. The appointment with Dr. Rachel can range from 90-120 minutes. Dr. Rachel will review your health goals, concerns and health history and do a physical exam. She will develop an individualized care plan with you that will include recommendations for lab testing, and may include diet and lifestyle modifications, supplementation, botanical/herbal medicine, recommendations for acupuncture or prescription medicine. Fast Pass: Allow 45-60 minutes for your first visit. The appointment with Dr. Rachel will be 30 minutes. She will answer questions, develop an individualized BHRT regimen for you, prescribe hormones that she feels are most suitable for you, and put together a blood draw order for you based on your needs to evaluate if your levels are optimal. Immediately after your visit, our staff will review your care plan with you to carefully ensure that all necessary parts of the plan are implemented.
- Step 3. Membership. After your initial visit, you may choose to be set up for membership. If you choose the 30 minute visit, you can sign up for the Fast Pass. If you choose the 2 hours visit, you can sign up for Hormones & Beyond.
- Step 4. Lab testing. Depending on Dr. Rachel’s findings, you may have blood testing at our clinic with our phlebotomist directly after your first visit, or you may schedule it for the near future after initiating treatment. Blood testing must be completed 2 weeks prior to your follow up appointment. Cost for labs depends on if you have insurance benefits and what tests are ordered based on findings and goals established in your initial consultation with Dr. Rachel. We offer discounted VIP pricing on blood testing for patients without insurance and for those on Medicare. You may not bill Medicare for labs ordered and you may not take lab orders to your in-network doctor. Dr. Rachel is responsible for labs she orders, interpretation, and treatment.
- Step 5. Follow-up consultation and re-checks. Dr. Rachel reviews any ordered labs with you, answers questions, and discusses your individualized care plan and treatment. She may start you on a hormone regimen in the initial visit, or in a subsequent visit after doing lab testing. If you started hormones in the initial visit, she may adjust doses based on labs and your response to treatment. If you are initiating treatment in a follow-up visit, then lab testing will be ordered again and another follow up will be scheduled in 2 months. This process will be repeated until hormone levels are optimized for your individual needs. Once this has been achieved, it is only required to repeat testing annually. H&B: One visit occurs in the first quarter. After the first year of membership, members have a one-hour in-clinic comprehensive annual visit with physical exam and an additional one hour's worth of visits that may be broken into 15 minutes segments to suit patient wishes. Time applied toward the two hours of visits is always calculated in 15 minute blocks, and is not calculated as accumulated minutes. Visit time that exceeds two hours per Year Term will be billed at $80/15 minute block. One visit annually is required. Fast pass: Unlimited scheduled visits (i.e. in-clinic, telehealth, or phone appointment) per year that are less than fifteen minutes in length to review labs and make adjustments to hormone-related prescriptions.
- Step 6. There are additional benefits for H&B members: included quarterly acupuncture visits, discounts on nutrient IV drips, supplements, and aesthetic PRP treatments to help you keep feeling and looking your best.
Membership Pricing
After your initial consultation, we will set you up for membership which is $125/month. This is billed monthly for Fast Pass, and quarterly (in 3 month cycles) for Hormones & Beyond.
Both memberships include: Worry-free prescription management, Insurance inquiry management, and Access to Simple Hormones Education Videos.
